We understand that some children are allergic to specific foods (such as those in the categories below or others) and we at Jan Pre-school & Nursery take it very seriously.
Parents are requested to notify us in writing if their child has a food allergy before starting at the nursery. When this information is received it is passed on to our Kitchen team and Nursery practitioners. The Kitchen team strive to ensure that alternative meals are similar to the main set meal, just without the allergen(s). Menus are on a three-week rotation and any meals containing items from the 14 main allergen groups are listed clearly.
